Ant International launches Wyn, an AI agent for cross-border merchants on WorldFirst

As the 140th Canton Fair opened, Ant International released Wyn, a “global account” AI agent on the WorldFirst app and website. Small businesses can use natural-language instructions to open collection accounts, apply for a WorldFirst card and exchange currencies, and Wyn can connect with partner agents for advertising, logistics, tax and compliance tasks after verification and user authorisation.

Why it matters: It moves AI agents beyond shopping and into cross-border treasury work for small exporters. Ant is pairing it with its AgentSafePay mechanism, which covers losses from agent-specific risks such as misread intent, a key hurdle before businesses trust agents with money.
